Ingredients

For the Tuna Tacos:

2 cups sushi-grade tuna, diced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 teaspoon honey or agave syrup

1 teaspoon sriracha (optional, for spiciness)

8 small corn tortillas

1 avocado, sliced

Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish

For the Strawberry Slaw:

2 cups thinly sliced red cabbage

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1/4 cup shredded carrots

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon honey

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Strawberry Slaw:

    - In a medium mixing bowl, combine the sliced red cabbage, sliced strawberries, and shredded carrots.

      - In a small bowl, whisk together the apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper to create a dressing.

        - Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until well combined. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

          Marinate the Tuna:

            - In another bowl, combine the diced tuna, soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, honey (or agave syrup), and sriracha (if using). Stir gently to coat the tuna evenly.

              - Let the tuna marinate for 15 minutes while you prepare the tortillas.

                Heat the Tortillas:

                  - In a skillet over medium heat, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable and slightly toasted. You can also wrap them in foil and warm in the oven if preferred.

                    Assemble the Tacos:

                      - Take a warm tortilla and layer with a spoonful of the marinated tuna, a generous amount of strawberry slaw, and a few slices of avocado.

                        - Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves for an extra burst of flavor.

                          Serve:

                            - Serve the tacos immediately, and enjoy the delightful combination of fresh tuna, vibrant slaw, and creamy avocado!
