1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/4 cup chopped peanuts (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Brownie Base: Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a medium saucepan, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips and unsalted butter over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

    Mix the Batter: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until creamy. Add the melted chocolate mixture and stir until combined. Sift in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt, folding gently until all ingredients are just mixed (do not overmix).

      Prepare the Peanut Butter Swirl: In a separate bowl, mix together the creamy peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth. If desired, you can fold in the chopped peanuts for added texture.

        Assemble the Cookies: Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop tablespoon-sized portions of the brownie batter onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie. Add a small dollop (about a teaspoon) of the peanut butter mixture on top of each brownie blob.
