1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup maple syrup

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup and place a wire rack on top.

    Prepare the Bacon: Lay the thick-cut bacon strips in a single layer on the wire rack. Make sure not to overlap the strips for even cooking.

      Mix the Glaze: In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Stir until the mixture is well blended and smooth.
