Ingredients

4 ears of fresh corn on the cob, husked

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/4 cup honey

1 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon fresh parsley or chives, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Corn: Start by husking the corn, removing all the silk. Rinse the ears of corn under cool water and set aside.

Make the Sweet Honey Butter: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, honey, sea salt, and ground cinnamon (if using). Use a hand mixer or a spatula to blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

      Boil or Grill the Corn:

        - Boiling Method: Fill a large pot with water, bring it to a boil, and add the corn. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Remove the corn using tongs and let it cool slightly.

          - Grilling Method: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place the husked corn directly on the grill grates and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the kernels are tender and slightly charred.

Coat the Corn: Once the corn is cooked, generously slather each ear with the sweet honey butter mixture using a brush or a knife. Make sure to coat all sides for maximum flavor.

Season and Serve: Sprinkle with freshly cracked black pepper and garnish with chopped parsley or chives. Serve immediately while warm, with any leftover honey butter on the side.
