1 cup whole milk, warmed

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup strawberries, diced

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp lemon juice

1 tsp ground cinnamon

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2-3 tbsp milk (to achieve desired consistency)

For Garnish:

Fresh strawberries, sliced

Crushed graham crackers (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Dough:

    - In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm milk and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.

      - Add melted butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir until well combined.

        - Gradually add the flour, one cup at a time, mixing until a soft dough forms. You may need a little more or less flour.

          - Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

            - Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

              Prepare the Filling:

                - In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, diced strawberries, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and ground cinnamon until smooth and well combined. Set aside.

                  Roll the Dough:

                    - Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle (about 16x12 inches).

                      - Spread the filling evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

                        Create the Rolls:

                          - Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log. Pinch the seam to seal.

                            - Cut the log into 12 equal slices. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, leaving space between each.

                              Second Rise:

                                - Cover the rolls with a towel and let them rise for another 30 minutes, until puffed.

                                  Bake the Rolls:

                                    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

                                      - Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool for a few minutes after baking.

                                        Make the Cream Cheese Frosting:

                                          - In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth.

                                            - Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until combined. Add milk a little at a time until desired consistency is achieved.

                                              Frost and Serve:

                                                - Drizzle the cream cheese frosting over the warm rolls.

                                                  - Garnish with sliced fresh strawberries and crushed graham crackers if desired.

                                                    - Serve warm and enjoy this sweet indulgence!
