Ingredients

1 pound (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce (adjust for heat preference)

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1 tablespoon lime zest

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)

Fresh cilantro leaves (for garnish)

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, Sriracha sauce, lime juice, lime zest, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Marinate the Shrimp: Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 20-30 minutes. If you're short on time, even 10 minutes will impart great flavor.

Cook the Shrimp: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp (reserve the marinade for later use). Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook them.

Glaze with Marinade: Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet after the shrimp are cooked and stir to combine. Let it simmer for an additional 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

Serve: Remove the skillet from heat. Transfer the shrimp to a serving platter and garnish with sliced green onions and fresh cilantro. Serve with lime wedges on the side for an extra zesty kick.
