Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)

2 ¼ cups granulated sugar

4 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup mini marshmallows

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

Extra chocolate chips and mini marshmallows for topping

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Melt Butter: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk until well blended. Then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Add Chocolate Chips: Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Prepare the Pan: Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Then layer half of the graham cracker crumbs over the top, followed by half of the mini marshmallows.

Finish Layering: Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and spread it gently to cover the graham cracker and marshmallow layer. Sprinkle the rest of the graham cracker crumbs and mini marshmallows, along with a scattering of extra chocolate chips, on top.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).

Cool and Serve: Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before lifting them out and cutting them into squares. For an extra toasty flavor, you can use a kitchen torch to lightly toast the exposed marshmallows on top.

Enjoy: Serve warm as is or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side.
