Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

¼ cup honey

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon olive oil

Juice of 1 lemon

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a large bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, smoked paprika, cumin, black pepper, salt, olive oil, and lemon juice. Whisk until everything is well combined.

Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer to a resealable plastic bag. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight for maximum flavor.

Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a charcoal grill, prepare the coals for direct grilling.

Grill the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side. Flip and cook for another 5-6 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken has a nice char.

Rest the Chicken: Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, keeping the chicken moist.

Serve: Plate the chicken and garnish with freshly chopped parsley and lemon wedges. Serve with your favorite sides like grilled veggies, rice, or a fresh salad.
