Ingredients

1.5 pounds turkey tenderloin

4 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Zest of 1 lemon

Juice of 1 lemon

Olive oil for drizzling

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix together 3 tablespoons of melted butter, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, parsley, paprika, salt, black pepper, lemon zest, and lemon juice until well combined.

Marinate the Turkey: Place the turkey tenderloin in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the turkey, ensuring it is evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to overnight for maximum flavor.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Sear the Turkey: In an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, add a drizzle of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Once hot, remove the turkey from the marinade (reserve the marinade for later), and sear the tenderloin for about 3-4 minutes on each side until a golden crust forms.

Add the Marinade: Pour the reserved marinade over the seared turkey tenderloin.

Bake: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the turkey reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste the turkey with the melted garlic butter halfway through cooking for extra flavor.

Rest and Slice: Once cooked, remove the skillet from the oven, and let the turkey rest for about 5-10 minutes before slicing for juiciness.

Garnish and Serve: Slice the turkey tenderloin, drizzle with the pan sauce, and garnish with additional fresh herbs. Serve with lemon wedges for a zesty kick.
