Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 ½ cups brown sugar, packed

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup crushed pretzels (plus extra for topping)

½ cup salted caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Sea salt flakes for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar. Whisk until well combined and smooth. Add in the eggs one at a time, whisking thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

Fold in Pretzels & Caramel: Gently fold in the crushed pretzels, reserving a handful for the topping. Drizzle in the salted caramel sauce and gently mix to create a marbled effect without fully incorporating it.

Pour & Spread: Pour the blondie batter into the prepared baking pan. Use a spatula to spread it evenly. Sprinkle the reserved crushed pretzels on top and drizzle a little more salted caramel sauce.

Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean (with a few moist crumbs).

Cool & Serve: Allow the blondies to cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Once cooled, sprinkle with sea salt flakes for an extra touch of salty goodness. Cut into squares and enjoy!
