Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate Bombs – A Winter Must-Have!

1 cup milk chocolate chips

1 cup white chocolate chips

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup mini marshmallows

Extra sea salt for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Melt the Chocolates: Start by melting the milk chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Optionally, you can use a double boiler for a more controlled melting process.

    Mold the Chocolate: Using a silicone sphere mold, spoon the melted milk chocolate into the molds, covering the sides completely. Ensure the edges are thick enough to hold the filling. Place the mold in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to set.

      Prepare the Filling: In a separate bowl, mix the cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and sea salt. Set aside. Once the milk chocolate shells are firm, carefully remove them from the mold.

        Fill the Bombs: Take half of the milk chocolate shells and fill each with a heaping tablespoon of the cocoa mixture, a teaspoon of caramel sauce, and a few mini marshmallows.

          Close the Bombs: Heat a small plate in the microwave for 30 seconds or until warm. Take the other half of the milk chocolate shells and press the edges against the warm plate to slightly melt them. Quickly place these on top of the filled shells, sealing the edges.
