At the core of any great cheesesteak, including our sliders, is the ribeye steak. Renowned for its marbling and tenderness, ribeye is the ideal cut for this dish. The fat content in ribeye not only provides flavor but also ensures that the meat stays juicy during cooking. When selecting ribeye for your sliders, look for cuts that are well-marbled with a rich, red color. This will guarantee that your sliders are packed with flavor and moisture, making every bite a delight.

Ingredients

1 lb (450g) ribeye steak, thinly sliced

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

8 slices provolone cheese

12 slider buns

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Vegetables: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and bell peppers, cooking until softened, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Cook the Steak: In the same skillet, increase heat to medium-high, add the thinly sliced ribeye steak. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until the steak is browned and cooked to your preference.

Combine Ingredients: Once the steak is cooked, return the onions and bell peppers to the skillet. Mix everything together and cook for an additional minute. Remove from heat.

Assemble the Sliders: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish. Evenly distribute the cheesesteak mixture over the buns, then top each with a slice of provolone cheese. Finally, place the top halves of the buns on top.

Melt the Cheese: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish sliders with chopped fresh parsley. Slice and serve warm.
