3 ripe peaches, sliced into wedges

8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced into rounds

1 cup fresh basil leaves

3 tbsp balsamic glaze

2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

Salt and black pepper to taste

Optional: crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Begin by washing the peaches and basil leaves. Cut the peaches into wedges and the mozzarella into rounds.

Layer the Salad: On a large serving platter, alternate layers of peach wedges and mozzarella slices. Tuck fresh basil leaves between the slices for added flavor.

Drizzle the Dressing: In a small bowl, combine the balsamic glaze and olive oil. Whisk until well combined, then drizzle this mixture evenly over the arranged peach and mozzarella.

Seasoning: Sprinkle a pinch of salt and freshly cracked black pepper over the top. If you're looking for a touch of heat, add a few crushed red pepper flakes.

Chill and Serve: Let the salad sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve immediately at room temperature, garnished with a few extra basil leaves if desired.
