Ingredients

12 Twinkies

1 cup whole milk

1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix

1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup crushed graham crackers (for crust)

4 tablespoons butter, melted

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional for garnish)

Fresh strawberries or other fruits (optional for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Graham Cracker Crust: In a bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Mix until combined. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch square or round cake pan to create a crust. Set aside.

Make the Pudding Layer: In another bowl, whisk together the whole milk and instant vanilla pudding mix. Stir for about 2 minutes until it thickens. Add in the vanilla extract and mix well.

Combine with Whipped Topping: Gently fold in the whipped topping into the pudding mixture until it is fully combined and fluffy.

Layer the Twinkies: Cut each Twinkie in half lengthwise, so you have two halves of each. Place half of the Twinkie pieces on top of the graham cracker crust, cut side up.

Add Pudding Mixture: Pour half of the pudding mixture over the Twinkie layer, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Then, repeat the layering process: add the remaining Twinkies on top of the pudding layer, followed by the remaining pudding mixture.

Chill: Cover the cake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to let the flavors meld and the cake to set properly.

Serve: Once set, slice and serve chilled. Garnish with mini chocolate chips and fresh strawberries on top if desired for extra flair!
