2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 cup heavy whipping cream

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 cup crunchy cereal (like Fruity Pebbles or crushed graham crackers)

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Strawberry Layer:

    - In a medium bowl, combine sliced strawberries and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Toss gently and set aside to macerate for about 15 minutes while you prepare the other layers.

      Whip the Cream:

        - In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract using an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to over-whip the cream.

          Make the Cream Cheese Mixture:

            - In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, remaining granulated sugar, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy. Ensure there are no lumps.

              Combine Cream and Cream Cheese:

                - Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined, being careful to maintain the light and airy texture.

                  Prepare the Crunch Layer:

                    - In a separate bowl, mix the crunchy cereal with melted butter until well combined. This will create the crunchy layer.

                      Assemble the Cake:

                        - In a 9-inch round or square baking dish, layer half of the crunchy mixture at the bottom as the base.

                          - Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the crunchy base.

                            - Spoon half of the macerated strawberries on top of the cream cheese layer.

                              - Repeat the layers: add the remaining crunchy mixture, the rest of the cream cheese mixture, and finally top with the remaining strawberries.

                                Chill:
