Ingredients

12 slider buns

1 pound smoked ham, sliced

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup green onions, chopped

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional, for a kick)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped green onions until evenly distributed.

Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the halves connected. Place the bottom halves in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

Layer the sliced smoked ham evenly over the bottom buns. Spread a generous portion of the cream cheese mixture over the ham.

Place the top halves of the buns on top of the cream cheese mixture.

In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and poppy seeds (if using). Brush the mixture over the tops of the slider buns.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the sliders are heated through.

Let them cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.
