Ingredients

4 ears of fresh sweet corn, husked

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/4 cup honey

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

Fresh chopped parsley or cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prep the Corn: Start by husking the corn and removing all the silk. Break off any excess stalk for easier handling.

Boil the Corn: Fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, carefully add the corn. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the corn is tender but still crisp.

Make the Honey Butter: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, honey, sea salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Use a fork or whisk to blend until smooth and creamy.

Drain and Cool: Once the corn is cooked, carefully drain it and let it cool for a minute or two until it's safe to handle.

Coat the Corn: Generously brush the honey butter mixture over each ear of corn, ensuring they're well coated. You can also roll the corn in the leftover honey butter for extra flavor.

Garnish and Serve: If desired, sprinkle fresh chopped parsley or cilantro over the corn for a burst of color and added freshness. Serve immediately, and enjoy your deliciously sweet and savory Honey Butter Corn on the Cob!
