Ingredients

4 cups water

4 black tea bags (or green tea bags for a lighter flavor)

1 ripe mango, peeled and diced

1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste; can substitute with honey or agave syrup)

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Ice cubes for serving

Instructions

Boil Water: In a saucepan, bring the 4 cups of water to a boil.

Steep Tea: Once boiling, remove from heat, add the tea bags, and let them steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your strength preference.

Prepare Mango Puree: While the tea is steeping, place the diced mango in a blender. Blend until smooth to create a mango puree.

Combine: After steeping, remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved. Then, add the mango puree and lemon juice to the tea, mixing well.

Chill: Transfer the mixture to a pitcher and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours to develop flavor.

Serve: To serve, fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the chilled mango iced tea over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for an aromatic touch.

Enjoy: Sip and savor the refreshing taste of your homemade mango iced tea!
