Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey for a healthier option)

2 cups elbow macaroni

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups beef broth

1 cup milk

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup frozen peas (optional for added veggies)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Brown the Meat: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef (or turkey). Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Sauté Vegetables: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion is translucent, approximately 2-3 minutes.

Add Seasonings: Stir in the paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure the meat is fully coated with the spices.

Combine with Pasta: Pour in the beef broth, milk, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring the mixture to a boil.

Stir in the Macaroni: Once boiling, add the elbow macaroni. Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover the skillet, and simmer for about 7-10 minutes or until the pasta is tender, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

Add Cheese: Once the macaroni is cooked, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. If using peas, add them at this stage.

Check and Adjust: Taste the mixture and adjust seasoning with more salt or pepper as needed.

Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
