4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted

4 cups mixed salad greens (arugula, spinach, and romaine)

1 cup crumbled goat cheese

1/2 cup pecans, toasted

1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced

1/4 cup balsamic glaze

3 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill to medium-high. If using a stovetop grill pan, preheat over medium heat.

    Prepare the Peaches: Brush the cut sides of the peach halves with olive oil. This helps them achieve a nice char on the grill.

      Grill the Peaches: Place the peaches cut side down on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes until grill marks appear and the peaches are slightly softened.

        Mix the Salad Base: While the peaches are grilling, in a large bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, sliced red onion, and toasted pecans.

          Add Grilled Peaches: Once grilled, remove the peach halves from the grill. Allow them to cool slightly, then chop into bite-sized pieces.

            Assemble the Salad: Add the grilled peach pieces to the salad bowl. Toss gently to combine.
