Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or ½ teaspoon dried thyme)

1 lemon, juiced and zested

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.

Stir in the thyme leaves, lemon juice, and lemon zest into the butter-garlic mixture. Remove from heat and set aside.

Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.

Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish, skin side down. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the fillets.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Once done, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
