Ingredients

2 large apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work well)

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 cup granola (your choice)

1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)

Pinch of salt

Optional: Additional cinnamon for dusting

Instructions

Prepare the Apples:

    - Wash and core the apples, then slice them into thin wedges (about 8 wedges per apple).

      Make the Yogurt Mixture:

        - In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until smooth and creamy.

          Coat the Apple Wedges:

            - Dip each apple wedge into the yogurt mixture, ensuring they are well-coated.

              Add the Crunch:

                - In a shallow dish, mix the granola and chopped nuts. Roll or press each yogurt-coated apple wedge into the granola mixture to fully coat them.

                  Freeze the Sticks:

                    - Place the coated apple wedges on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer. Make sure there is some space between each wedge to prevent sticking.

                      Chill in the Freezer:

                        - Freeze the apple wedges for at least 2-3 hours, or until solid.

                          Serve:

                            - Once frozen, take the apple cinnamon sticks out of the freezer. If desired, sprinkle a little more cinnamon on top before serving. Enjoy your healthy and delicious treat!
