Ingredients

2 ripe bananas, sliced

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (or dairy-free chips)

1/4 cup crushed nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Optional toppings: shredded coconut, chia seeds, or more crushed nuts

Instructions

Prepare the Banana Base: In a medium bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.

Mix the Yogurt: Add the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and sea salt to the mashed bananas. Stir until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is creamy.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring well after each interval until fully melted and smooth.

Combine Chocolate & Yogurt: Drizzle about half of the melted chocolate into the yogurt mixture and gently fold it in to create a marbled effect.

Fill the Cups: Spoon the yogurt mixture into silicone muffin cups or paper cupcake liners, filling each about 3/4 full.

Add Texture: Sprinkle crushed nuts over the tops of the yogurt cups for added texture, then drizzle the remaining melted chocolate on top.

Freeze: Place the filled muffin cups in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until frozen solid.

Serve: Once frozen, pop the yogurt cups out of the silicone molds or peel away the paper liners. Serve immediately or store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
