Ingredients

1 box of brownie mix (approx. 18.4 oz)

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup vegetable oil

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)

1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional, walnuts or pecans recommended)

Pinch of salt

Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, all-purpose flour, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well mixed.

Prepare Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.

Combine Mixtures: Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture. Stir until fully combined; the dough may be a bit thick.

Add Chocolate Chips and Nuts: Fold in the chocolate chips and any chopped nuts you desire, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Shape Cookies: Using a tablespoon or a cookie scoop, drop heaping spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Leave some space between each cookie as they will spread while baking.

Bake: Place the cookies in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers still look slightly underbaked.

Cool: Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Optional Dusting: If desired, dust the cooled cookies with powdered sugar before serving for an extra touch of sweetness.
