Ingredients

2 cups pretzel sticks, crushed

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 (12 oz) container Cool Whip (or whipped topping)

1 (20 oz) can pineapple tidbits, drained

1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained

1 cup mini marshmallows

½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Crust:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

      - In a medium bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix well until the pretzels are evenly coated.

        - Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form a crust.

          - Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

            Make the Fluff Filling:

              - In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

                - Gradually add the powdered sugar, continuing to mix until well combined.

                  - Gently fold in the Cool Whip until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.

                    Add the Fruits and Nuts:

                      - Stir in the drained pineapple tidbits, crushed pineapple, mini marshmallows, and chopped pecans (if using) into the fluff mixture until evenly distributed.

                        Assemble the Salad:

                          - Once the pretzel crust has cooled, spread the fluff mixture evenly over the pretzel layer in the baking dish.

                            - Cover and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the crust to soften slightly.

                              Serve:

                                - Once chilled, cut the salad into squares and serve chilled. Enjoy your delightful blend of sweet, salty, and fluffy textures!
