Ingredients

1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened

1 cup (200g) granulated sugar

1 cup (220g) packed brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 1/4 cups (280g) all-purpose flour

3/4 cup (75g) unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 cups (340g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup (100g) mini marshmallows

1/2 cup (90g) chocolate chunks (for extra fudginess)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cream the Butters and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, ensuring everything is fully combined.

Combine the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

Combine the Mixtures: Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

Fold in the Chocolates: Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and chocolate chunks until evenly distributed.

Scoop the Dough: Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake the Cookies: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers remain soft and slightly underbaked. The marshmallows will be gooey and melty.

Cool: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Enjoy: Serve warm for a delightfully fudgy experience, or store in an airtight container for up to a week.
