Instructions

Prepare the Cake Layers:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 8-inch round cake pans.

      - In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

        - In a separate large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.

          - Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.

            - Slowly add the flour mixture in three parts, alternating with the milk until well combined.

              - Divide the batter evenly into three bowls: To the first bowl, leave it plain for the vanilla layer. In the second bowl, mix in the cocoa powder for the chocolate layer. In the third bowl, stir in the pureed strawberries for the strawberry layer.

                Bake the Layers:

                  - Pour each mixture into its respective prepared cake pan and smooth the tops.

                    - Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then turn them out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

                      Make the Cream Fillings:

                        - For the Strawberry Cream, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and pureed strawberries together until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

                          - For the Chocolate Cream, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract together until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

                            - For the Vanilla Cream, simply beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

                              Assemble the Cake:

                                - Place one vanilla cake layer on a serving platter. Spread half of the strawberry cream filling over the layer.

                                  - Add the chocolate layer on top, spreading half of the chocolate cream filling over it.

                                    - Place the strawberry layer on top and spread the vanilla cream filling over it.

                                      - Add the final layer of vanilla cake on top and frost the entire cake with any remaining filling, or whipped cream if preferred.

                                        Decorate the Cake:

                                          - Decorate the top with fresh strawberries, raspberries, and chocolate shavings. Refrigerate for about 1 hour to set the frosting before slicing.
