Ingredients

1 pound of fresh lump crab meat, picked for shells

1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced

1/2 cup onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (for topping)

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook the Shrimp: In a skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil and sauté the minced garlic, diced onion, and diced green bell pepper until softened. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes. Set aside to cool slightly.

Mix the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.

Add Seafood: Gently fold in the lump crab meat and the sautéed shrimp mixture into the base mixture until evenly incorporated.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.

Prepare the Topping: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the breadcrumbs. Evenly sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the top of the casserole.

Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbling.

Cool and Serve: Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
