Ingredients

1 large loaf of crusty bread (Italian or French)

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

6 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 packet ranch dressing mix

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)

1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Bread: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Carefully slice the top off the loaf of bread and hollow out the inside, leaving enough crust around the edges to create a sturdy shell. Reserve the bread pieces for later use (diced for dipping or stuffing).

Mix the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing mix, softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and chopped chives. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.

Fill the Bread: Stuff the mixture into the hollowed-out loaf of bread, pressing down gently to ensure it's packed tightly. You can mix in some of the reserved bread pieces for added texture if desired.

Bake the Stuffed Bread: Place the stuffed bread on a baking sheet. Brush the top with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder. Cover loosely with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm with extra ranch dressing for dipping on the side.
