Ingredients

1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the steak cubes with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper, ensuring each piece is evenly coated. Let the steak marinate for 15–20 minutes at room temperature for enhanced flavor.

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil shimmers, add the marinated steak bites in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they form a nice crust and reach your desired level of doneness (medium-rare is about 135°F).

Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside on a plate. Lower the heat to medium and add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and the butter.

Once the butter melts and starts to bubble, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through and allow the flavors to meld.

Remove from heat and sprinkle chopped parsley over the steak bites. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for a zesty finish.
