Ingredients

1 medium green cabbage, chopped

1 pound ground beef

1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Cabbage: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the chopped cabbage and blanch for about 3-5 minutes until slightly tender. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Beef Mixture: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion turns translucent (about 3-4 minutes). Add the ground beef, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.

Mix Ingredients: Stir in the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, paprika, and season with salt and pepper. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes.

Layer the Bake: In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, layer half of the blanched cabbage at the bottom. Spread the beef and rice mixture evenly on top. Finish by layering the remaining cabbage over the beef.

Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top layer of cabbage.

Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve: Allow the dish to rest for about 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley for an added touch.
