Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Zest and juice of 1 lemon

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them in the prepared baking dish.

Season the Salmon: In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture over the salmon fillets. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle lemon zest on top.

Bake the Salmon: Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Prepare the Mustard Dill Sauce: While the salmon is baking, combine Dijon mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, and chopped dill in a separate bowl. Mix well until fully combined. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve: Once the salmon is ready, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve the salmon with a generous drizzle of the mustard dill sauce on top and lemon wedges on the side for squeezing.

Enjoy: Enjoy your Citrus-Infused Baked Salmon as a light, flavorful meal paired with your choice of sides, such as roasted vegetables or quinoa!
