Ingredients

4 fresh salmon fillets (6 oz each)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon dried dill

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Lemon slices, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, dried dill, dried oregano, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish, skin-side down. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is well coated. Let the salmon marinate for about 15-20 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Bake the Salmon: Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven. Bake the salmon for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Garnish and Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven, and garnish with additional chopped parsley and a few lemon slices. Serve hot with your choice of side dishes.
