4 salmon fillets (skinless, about 6 oz each)

4 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

Juice and zest of 2 large lemons

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust for spice level)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon slices (for serving)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano, thyme, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

      Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is coated evenly. Let it marinate for at least 15-20 minutes (or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator for more flavor).

        Arrange for Baking: Line a baking dish with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Place the marinated salmon fillets skin-side down in the dish. Pour any remaining marinade over the top.

          Bake: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until it flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
