Ingredients

8 oz spaghetti

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup marinara sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook the Spaghetti: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Sauté Aromatics: In a skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil. Sauté the diced onion until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

Combine Ingredients: In the mixing bowl with the cream cheese mixture, add the sautéed onion and garlic, cooked spaghetti, and marinara sauce. Stir gently until everything is evenly coated.

Layer in Baking Dish: Spread half of the spaghetti mixture in the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese on top.

Add Remaining Mixture: Layer the remaining spaghetti mixture over the cheese, then top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil (to prevent browning too quickly) and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Garnish and Serve: Once out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil leaves. Enjoy your creamy, cheesy baked spaghetti!
