1 batch of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt, to taste

Fresh parsley, finely chopped for garnish

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare the Dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick. Cut the dough into strips (about 1-2 inches wide).

      Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian herbs, red pepper flakes (if using), and a pinch of salt.

        Coat the Dough: Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the strips of dough, ensuring they are coated well. Reserve a little of the mixture for brushing on top after baking.

          Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough strips, followed by a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.

            Bake: Place the breadsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

              Finish and Serve: Remove from the oven and drizzle the reserved garlic butter mixture over the top. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Slice and serve warm, alongside marinara sauce for dipping if desired.
