2 slices of your favorite bread (sourdough or whole grain recommended)

2 tablespoons apple butter

2 slices sharp cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

A pinch of salt

Prep the Bread: Begin by spreading 1 tablespoon of softened butter on one side of each slice of bread. This will create a golden and crispy exterior when grilled.

    Assemble the Sandwich: Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in a skillet over medium heat. Spread 2 tablespoons of apple butter evenly on top of this slice.
