Ingredients

2 medium zucchinis, sliced thinly (about 1/8 inch thick)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional for extra flavor)

Cooking spray (for greasing the air fryer basket)

Instructions

Prep the Zucchini: Begin by washing the zucchinis thoroughly. Trim off the ends and slice them into thin rounds using a mandoline or a sharp knife, aiming for uniform thickness to ensure even cooking.

Season the Zucchini: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced zucchini with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. If you’re using Parmesan cheese, add it now. Toss everything until the zucchini slices are evenly coated.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes. This helps to get the zucchini chips crispier.

Arrange in the Air Fryer: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Carefully place a single layer of seasoned zucchini slices in the basket, making sure not to overcrowd them for even cooking. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to work in batches.

Air Fry the Zucchini Chips: Cook the zucchini chips in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes. Halfway through, shake the basket or flip the chips for even cooking.

Check for Crispiness: After 10 minutes, check the chips for doneness. They should be golden-brown and crispy. If they need more time, air fry them for an additional 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.

Cool and Serve: Once cooked, remove the chips from the basket and let them cool on a wire rack to maintain their crispiness. Season with a little extra salt if desired, and serve immediately.

Enjoy your delightful Crispy Air Fryer Zucchini Chips as a healthy snack, side dish, or appetizer!
