Ingredients
  

2 large chicken breasts

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking spray or olive oil for spraying

Prep the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound them to an even thickness of about 1 inch. This helps them cook evenly and stay juicy. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

    Set Up Breading Station: In three separate shallow bowls, prepare your breading station:

      - In the first bowl, beat the two eggs and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

        - In the second bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, seasoned breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Italian herbs, and a bit of salt and pepper.

          - Leave the third bowl empty for a place to hold your breaded chicken.

            Bread the Chicken: Dip each chicken breast first into the egg mixture, ensuring it's fully coated. Then, press the chicken into the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture, making sure it adheres well to both sides. Place the coated chicken in the empty bowl.

              Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

                Air Fry the Chicken: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush some olive oil on it. Place the breaded chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

                  Cook: Air fry the chicken at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through. The chicken should be golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

                    Rest and Serve: Once cooked, carefully remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute. Serve with a side of your choice, like a fresh salad or steamed vegetables.
