Ingredients

2 medium-sized apples (preferably Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon coconut sugar (or brown sugar)

A pinch of salt

Cooking spray (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Apples:

    - Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Using a mandoline slicer or a sharp knife, slice the apples as thinly as possible (around 1/8 inch thick). This helps them become crispy in the air fryer.

      Season the Apple Slices:

        - In a large bowl, mix together the ground cinnamon, coconut sugar, and salt. Add the apple slices to the bowl and toss them gently until all the slices are evenly coated with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

          Preheat the Air Fryer:

            - Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C) for about 3-5 minutes. This helps in achieving a crispy texture.

              Arrange Apple Slices:

                - Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray (if using) to prevent sticking. Arrange the seasoned apple slices in a single layer in the basket without overlapping. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

                  Air Fry the Apple Chips:

                    - Air fry the apple slices for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. Keep an eye on them during the last few minutes to prevent burning, as cooking times may vary based on your air fryer.

                      Cool and Crisp:

                        - Once done, remove the apple chips from the air fryer and allow them to cool on a wire rack. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.

                          Store:

                            - Once completely cooled, store the cinnamon apple chips in an airtight container at room temperature. Enjoy them as a healthy snack!
