Ingredients

2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or almonds) - optional

A pinch of salt

Cooking spray or parchment paper for lining

Instructions

Prepare Your Pan: Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal, or lightly spray it with cooking spray.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, then stir well. Repeat in 30-second intervals until the mixture is completely melted and smooth.

Mix It Up: Once melted, stir in the unsweetened cocoa powder, vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and chopped nuts (if using). Mix until everything is well combined.

Pour and Spread: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to spread it evenly.

Chill: Place the baking dish in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fudge sets. You can also leave it at room temperature if you prefer a softer fudge.

Cut and Serve: Once set, lift the fudge out of the baking dish using the parchment paper. Cut it into squares and serve. Enjoy your quick, delicious fudge!
