My Daughter’s Whispers Unveiled My Wife’s Dark Secret Before My Trip

My Daughter’s Whispers Unveiled My Wife’s Dark Secret Before My Trip Save

Marcus Cancels His Trip and Pretends to Leave

With every fiber of his being, Marcus wanted to confront Sarah right then and there. But he knew he needed more evidence. He had to be sure. He kissed Lily's forehead and stood up. "I'll be right back, sweetheart. I just need to grab something from the car."

Lily nodded, still clinging to him. "Okay, Daddy."

He gently set her down and walked to the front door, picking up his suitcase. "I'll be back soon, okay?"

Lily smiled, though her eyes were wary. "Okay."

Marcus stepped outside, pulling his phone out to cancel his flight. He made the call, confirming the cancellation, and then walked around the side of the house. He found a spot where he could hide behind a large bush, close enough to see the kitchen window without being seen.

He peered through the leaves, his heart pounding. "Stay calm," he told himself. "Just watch."

Back inside, Lily seemed restless. She wandered into the living room, humming softly to herself. Marcus's breath caught in his throat as he watched Sarah move into the kitchen. She had a glass in one hand and a small vial in the other.

Marcus's hands clenched into fists. He had to know what was happening.

Marcus Watches Sarah Prepare the Juice

Sarah carefully poured juice into the glass, her movements deliberate. She glanced around the kitchen, ensuring no one was watching. Then, she unscrewed the cap of the small vial and added a few drops to the juice. Marcus's breath hitched as he watched her stir the mixture.

She placed the glass on the table and retrieved her phone from the counter. She opened the camera app and positioned it to capture Lily. Marcus's blood ran cold. This was real. This was happening.

Lily entered the kitchen, her small steps hesitant. "Mommy, can I have some juice?"

Sarah forced a smile. "Of course, sweetie." She handed Lily the glass. "Here you go."

Lily took a sip, her face scrunching slightly. "It tastes a little funny."

Sarah's smile never wavered. "It's just a new kind of juice. Drink up."

Lily drank more, and Marcus watched in horror as her behavior began to change. Her movements became jerky, and her eyes darted around the room. Sarah started recording, her calm demeanor unnerving Marcus even more.

Lily started to laugh uncontrollably, her giggles high-pitched and erratic. "Mommy, why do I feel so funny?"

Marcus's hands trembled. This was it. His worst fears confirmed. Sarah continued to film, seemingly oblivious to his presence. He had to act, but he had to be smart. He had to catch her in the act, once and for all.

His mind raced as he watched Sarah add the vial to Lily's juice and start filming her erratic behavior, confirming his worst fears.

Confrontation in the Kitchen

“What the hell is that you’re putting in Lily’s juice?” I demanded, voice shaking as I stepped out from behind the pantry door.

Sarah turned, the bottle of juice in her hand, a faint smile playing on her lips.

“Marcus, calm down. It’s just a vitamin supplement,” she said, her tone even, as if we were discussing a grocery list.

“A supplement that makes Lily act like a hyperactive rabbit and then you film her?” I pressed, eyes flicking to the small tripod perched on the counter.

She set the camera down, the red recording light blinking innocently.

“I’m protecting us,” she replied, wiping a stray hair from Lily’s cheek. “Julian and I have been watching her reactions. It’s the only way to make sure she’s safe when you’re gone.”

“Julian? Who the hell is he?” I snapped, heart pounding.

She shrugged lightly. “A friend. He helps around the house, fixes things, runs errands. He’s trustworthy.”

I could feel the bile rising. “Show me those videos. All of them.”

She hesitated, eyes darting to the hallway, then forced a sigh. “Fine. Come with me.”
