I Still Hear Lily’s Cry in My Head After Watching the Terrifying Live Stream

I Still Hear Lily’s Cry in My Head After Watching the Terrifying Live Stream Save

Vanessa’s Mask Cracks

Lily lifted the pink bucket hat off her head. My breath froze.

Her beautiful hair had been cut into rough, uneven patches. A dried cut showed above her left ear, and her hands shook as she held the hat.

“Aunt Vanessa said my hair is so pretty it’s unfair to Chloe.” I knelt beside her and carefully turned her head.

Then I noticed a severed braid sealed inside a plastic bag on the vanity.

Vanessa appeared in the doorway wearing a smile that vanished the moment she saw my face.

“She got into the scissors. Kids do stupid things.”

I crossed the room and slapped her.

She crashed onto the floor, the echo ringing louder than our shouting.

“My six‑year‑old would never cut her own hair.”

My eyes snapped to the tablet on the side table. The livestream was frozen at 2:14.

I pressed play.

Beauty lights swirled around Lily, Vanessa stood behind her with scissors, and Chloe gripped Lily’s arms.

Vanessa lunged for the tablet. I yanked it away.

On‑screen, Lily began begging them to stop.

I stared down at Vanessa.

“Why were you telling Chloe to hold Lily still?”

She swallowed, eyes darting to the bag at her feet.

“It was… a game,” she whispered, voice cracking.

When I lifted the bag, a small USB drive slipped out, its metal gleam catching the chandelier’s light.

I slipped the drive into my phone, heart hammering.

“You think this is over?” I asked, voice low.

She shook her head, eyes wet.

“You’ll see what I was trying to protect you from.”

Without another word, I slipped out of the room, the drive warm in my palm, the hum of the house suddenly oppressive.

The Hidden Truth Unfolds

Back in the kitchen, I plugged the USB into my laptop, the screen flickering to life.

The video started where the livestream had left off: Chloe’s knuckles white around Lily’s wrists.

Vanessa’s voice, barely audible, whispered, “E‑li… don’t let him find us.”

Chloe’s eyes darted to a dark corner, her breath hitching.

“If you tell anyone, we lose everything,” Vanessa hissed, a cold edge to her tone.

She lifted the scissors, the blade catching the light like a promise of pain.

“You’ll stay quiet, or… we’ll all be ruined.”

Lily’s face twisted, tears streaking her cheeks.
