I Hired an Actress to Make My Ex-Wife Regret Leaving Me on Her Wedding Day

I Hired an Actress to Make My Ex-Wife Regret Leaving Me on Her Wedding Day Save

Section 3

The tension in the room became palpable, each whisper like an electric shock. Monica’s mother stood up, her expression a mixture of suspicion and determination. “What exactly is this ‘perfect life’ you claim to have?” she challenged Susan, her voice echoing off the walls.

I felt my heart race, the panic bubbling inside me as I realized that strangers were suddenly dissecting my life. I glanced at Monica. Her face was a mask of confusion and dread. She shifted from foot to foot, desperately trying to regain control.

“What are you doing, Mom?” Monica snapped, her composure cracking. “This isn’t—”

Then, out of nowhere, Susan's phone rang. She hesitated for a heartbeat, then pulled it from her pocket. “Excuse me,” she murmured, stepping away from the mic.

I watched as she answered, my stomach in knots. The guests were still murmuring, some exchanging glances, clearly intrigued by this sudden interruption. What could possibly be more shocking than what was happening right now?

“Hello?” Susan replied, her tone shifting rapidly from casual to serious. I couldn’t hear the other end of the conversation, but her expression said it all. There was something deeply unsettling about this call.

Section 4

Before I could even process what was happening, Susan turned back to the crowd, her eyes wide. “Everyone, I need to share something,” she said, her voice steady and commanding. “I’m not just an actress. I was a friend of his in college. I watched him struggle, and I know the truth.”

Gasps rippled through the audience. I felt heat rise to my cheeks as the attention shifted back to me. Could she really do this? This was meant to be my moment of redemption, but instead, it slipped through my fingers.

I looked at Monica, whose horror was unmistakable. She glanced nervously from Susan to her mother, the realization dawning that the stakes had grown exponentially.

“You’re lying!” Monica shouted, her voice rising above the crowd, but there was a quiver beneath her bravado.

With my heart pounding, I realized this was my chance to reclaim my story. I took a breath, ready to declare my truth, but then Monica’s fiancé interrupted, standing suddenly and drawing everyone's attention.

“I have something to say,” he declared, his tone grave. The room turned silent, all eyes on him. “You need to know about the affair Monica had while they were still married.”
