Instructions

  1. Make the glaze: In a small saucepan, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened. Set aside.
  2. Prep oven and pan: Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Prepare broccoli: Cut broccoli into uniform florets. Toss with olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Arrange on one half of the baking sheet.
  4. Season salmon: Pat salmon dry and season with remaining salt and pepper. Place skin-side down on the other half of the baking sheet.
  5. Glaze everything: Brush 2/3 of the glaze over the salmon. Drizzle remaining glaze over broccoli and toss lightly.
  6. Roast: Bake for 8 minutes, then remove and toss broccoli. Return to oven for 10-12 minutes more, until salmon flakes easily.
  7. Finish and serve: Broil for 2-3 minutes for caramelized finish. Let rest 5 minutes, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve.
