I’m Pregnant, Betrayed, and Fighting for My Home While My Father Stands Alone Against an Unforgiving Husband

I’m Pregnant, Betrayed, and Fighting for My Home While My Father Stands Alone Against an Unforgiving Husband Save

Marble Hallway Confrontation

“Get out, Olivia!” Adrian’s voice reverberated off the cold marble, a blade slicing through the echoing hall.

My hand clutched the curve of my belly, the swell pressing against my ribs like a silent drum.

“Adrian,” I whispered, the words trembling, “I’m carrying your child.”

Camille’s crystal glass shimmered in her grip, the fizz rising like a laugh I could not hear.

She sneered, “Who are you calling? A taxi?” The disdain dripped from her lips, sour as the champagne.

I lifted my trembling finger to the side table, the phone cold beneath my skin, and dialed my father’s number.

“Dad, come get me. Bring the legal team,” I said, voice cracking, the words spilling into the hallway’s emptiness.

There was a pause, a breath held, then Arthur’s flat, distant tone: “Stay exactly where you are.”

The roar of two black SUVs shattered the silence as they barreled through the gate.

Lawyers in crisp suits emerged, their shoes clicking like a marching regiment.

Security officers in dark shades followed, their eyes scanning every corner, every crack.

My father, Arthur Monroe, stepped out last, a towering silhouette against the gathering storm.

He moved toward me, his coat sweeping over my shoulders, a shield of steel and legacy.

“You threw my pregnant daughter out?” he demanded, voice low, a furnace of fury burning beneath the calm.

Adrian lifted his chin, a thin, cruel smile curving his lips.

“This is my property,” he said, the words a proclamation of ownership.

Camille laughed, the sound hollow, and turned her gaze to the incoming legal team.

The tension crackled like static, the marble walls holding their breath.

My heart pounded against my ribs, each beat a reminder of the life I carried.

Arthur placed a hand on my arm, his grip firm, reassuring, yet his eyes never left Adrian.

“We’ll see who owns what,” he whispered, a promise hidden in the storm of his tone.

The Deed and the Lockdown

Arthur’s attorney stepped forward, a sealed folder glinting under the chandelier’s cold light.

She opened it with deliberate calm, pulling out a single, aged deed, its parchment yellowed by time.

Arthur’s fingers traced the ink, the faded script spelling my name, Olivia Monroe, as the rightful owner.

“No, Mr. Vale,” the attorney intoned, her voice unyielding, “this mansion has always belonged to Olivia.”

Adrian’s face twisted, rage flaring behind his eyes, his jaw clenched like a vice.

“You’re trying to cheat me again?” he spat, the words slashing through the heavy air.

Camille’s eyes flicked between the deed and the storm gathering outside, the windows trembling with each gust.

Thunder rolled, low and foreboding, as the mansion seemed to inhale the tempest.

Arthur raised his voice, commanding, “Security, secure the house. No one leaves until we sort this out.”

Two guards stepped forward, their radios crackling, the faint buzz of authority filling the hallway.

Lightning flashed, illuminating the marble in stark white, casting my father’s silhouette in a heroic outline.
