Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups unsweetened shredded coconut
  • ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Coconut Coating

  • ½ cup toasted coconut flakes
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (optional)

Lime‑Honey Glaze

  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ¼ teaspoon flaky sea salt

Instructions

Shaping the Snowballs

  1. Portion the dough. Using a tablespoon or small ice‑cream scoop, portion the mixture into 12 equal parts. This ensures uniform size and even chilling.
  2. Roll into balls. Between your palms, roll each portion into a smooth sphere about 1‑inch in diameter. The heat of your hands helps smooth the surface and prevents cracks.
  3. Coat with toasted coconut. Place ½ cup toasted coconut flakes in a shallow dish. Gently roll each ball in the flakes until fully covered. The toasted flakes create a light, crunchy shell that contrasts the soft interior.
  4. Optional sweet dust. If you prefer a sweeter finish, lightly dust the coated balls with 2 tablespoons powdered sugar. This step adds a subtle sparkle without overwhelming the citrus glaze.
